Brazos Paving finalized negotiations for the The Plaza Reconstruction this week. BPI will act as the General Contractor over the demolition/ implosion phase. The Tower along with several outlying buildings will be completely removed from the site to make room for a much needed 12 Acre development in College Station. Demolition is to begin immediately utilizing several subcontractors and is scheduled to be completed in 4 Months.
While LEED will not be attempted on this project, Brazos Paving along with Precision Demolition are making all efforts to recycle and reuse a majority of the materials to be demolished. Currently the exercise equipment has been donated to a high school football program, Habitat for Humanity will be utilizing much of the useable furniture, all metals will be recycled, and the concrete and asphalt pavement will be crushed and utilized for future road projects in the Brazos Valley.
We are honored to be able to work with Woodridge College Station and Capstone Collegiate Communities on this project to bring the most innovative development in the Bryan College Station area and one that will rival any construction project in the state.

TAMU Blue Bell Park @ Olsen Field
Brazos Paving substantially completed the reconstructed baseball stadium on the Texas A&M Campus on Friday February 17, 2012. Utility relocations started a little less than a year ago and the project had a hard finish date of 2/17/12 for the first home game in College Station. BPI condensed a concrete paving and brick paver schedule from 1.5 months to two weeks, utilizing 75 employees and working around the clock to be ready for game day. Along with Skanska USA, the general contractor, and several other subcontractors this legendary but outdated stadium turned in to one of the top collegiate baseball fields in the country.
